SUICIDE PREVENTION ADVOCACY DAY REACHES OUT

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), in conjunction with the Idaho suicide Prevention Coalition, held Suicide Prevention Advocacy Day at the Idaho Legislature in February of this year. Over 40 advocates from across the state met early on February 25th to outline meetings with their legislators.  Dr. Robert Polk, who chaired the Idaho Health Quality Planning Commission, discussed suicide rates in Idaho as well as demographics.
